My background in Business and Law.
In February 2020, I began studying Business and Law at the University of Technology Sydney, motivated by a desire to help people.
I viewed law as a means to connect with individuals' challenges and aimed to be the one to provide solutions. I was particularly fascinated by how systems can be designed to address and adapt to human needs.
But, I wanted more.
Although I was fascinated by the complexity of the field, I felt frustrated by how reading hundreds of reports didn’t translate into actionable solutions for people.
I yearned for a faster pace where I could make a direct, positive impact on individuals rather than just analysing theoretical frameworks.
This thing called UX?
When the pandemic struck, I saw it as a chance to rediscover my joy for creating. I assisted design computing colleagues with their studios, seeking an escape from the endless readings.
Long story short, my rekindled passion for helping people led to an unexpected new path in my career.
Making it all happen.
To my advantage, I was able to leverage personal hobbies and interests, such as 3D modeling and freelance video editing, to accelerate my UX design learning journey.
I loved solving problems by creating tangible solutions and valued visual storytelling, using my skills to elevate each project with compelling narratives and high-quality renderings.
I’m probably making tweaks to my portfolio or modeling something in Blender.
Other than that, you’ll find me watching anime and movies, playing story-driven games, hanging out with my cats, and exploring the world one step at a time.
I also love making new friends to discuss my hot takes on anime — reach out, and we can chat about anything!
